There are plenty of 3002 bars available new. There's a 41" on Ebay right now. But yes you do often have to re-drill oil & adjuster holes. That is a common practice as is lengthening the stud slot. They can be a real challenge to work on with the throttle, fuel line, and impulse line in such a tight spot in the air box with the carburetor. Baileys has some good German made carlton bars for $30 that are pretty good IME. Personally I'd rather get deals on bars that are of decent quality. If you break it, bend it, etc, it's not a big deal. If you drop $100+ on a bar, it is a big deal.Husky 550XP is a good saw but Husqvarna is having issues with supplying parts. Echo makes a good saw as well, believe the 4910 is still available but that saw really needs muffler work to realize it's full potential. The echos are hard to beat for the price.
